Program Launch Manager & Production Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Program Launch Manager & Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful launch and execution of new product programs. You will act as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and factories, managing all aspects of program documentation, artwork approval, first article management, and ongoing program coordination. This role requires exceptional communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Documentation Management:
- Obtain, organize, and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including:
- Customer specifications and product requirements.
- Company-approved specification sheets.
- MSDS documentation.
- Product testing reports (FDA Food Contact Safety, Letters of Guarantee, etc.).
- Factory audit reports (ISO 9001, Social Compliance, GMP).
2. SKU Management
- Ensure that SKUs are properly uploaded in the ERP system.
- Perform maintenance, including checking and managing relevant changes to the SKU number, description, costing, etc.
3. Artwork Coordination:
- Collaborate with customers, internal design teams, and factories to ensure accurate and timely artwork approvals.
- Proactively identify and resolve artwork discrepancies or issues that may impact the launch schedule.
- Manage art changes and ensure customer sign oZ and update of files in internal and factory records.
4. First Article Management:
- Oversee the customer’s first article approval process and meticulously track all subsequent changes.
- Maintain oZicial keep samples and update documentation (spec sheets, revision history, artwork) accordingly.
- Ensure ERP systems and product specifications align with the approved first article and any subsequent changes.
- Manage customer-driven change orders and ensure cost implications are clearly communicated to internal stakeholders.
5. Program Coordination:
- Collaborate with Sales to gather critical launch information, including specifications, forecasts, and deadlines.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Confirm factory capacity, lead times, and capabilities meet customer expectations and order plans.
- Proactively monitor program progress, identify potential roadblocks, and escalate concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years in operations, project management, or customer-facing roles, preferably with experience in international production and long lead times.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, logistics software/TMS, and ERP systems.
